All baseball teams are dependent on number of sign ups for the particular divisions and how teams will be formed. The older age groups may be evaluated to see skill level and performance competencies to better place players in appropriate teams/leagues.

Please bring completed form and registration fee to spring sports signup days.

5-6 Year Olds - T-Ball Baseball - Boys and Girls

Dates and location: T-ball plays/practices every Monday or Wednesday night (TBD), 5:30 pm and Saturday morning (time TBD) beginning in April. The season runs through the last week of June and concludes with a trophy pizza party. All the practices and games will be held at Dufresne Park.

At the first meeting, we plan to distribute t-shirts and hats that day, and weather permitting, there will be a practice.

Goal: T-Ball is intended as an introduction of the very basics and fun of playing baseball. T-Ball emphasizes the importance of camaraderie, teamwork, good sportsmanship and making new friends through baseball.

Also, take note of their first practice and keep it in mind at the end of the season. You will be amazed at how much the kids improve.

7-8 Year Olds - Coach Pitch - Boys and Girls

We plan to distribute t-shirts and hats the first day, and weather permitting, there will be a practice. The season runs through the last week of June and concludes with a trophy pizza party. Goal: Coach pitch is an instructional league - focusing on the rules and fundamentals and base strategies of the game. There will be live baseball played, with hands on instruction given throughout. As always, the GAA emphasizes the importance of camaraderie, teamwork and good sportsmanship.

10 & Under Division Tri-Town Baseball (Kid Pitch) - Boys Only

League: We will compete in the Tri-Town Baseball League and Suburban National League this spring. Other Tri-Town/Suburban members include Palmer, South Hadley, Ludlow, Wilbraham, Longmeadow, East Longmeadow and Monson. We will field one “A” division team and at least one “B” division team. These teams will be selected based on an evaluation.

Season Schedule: There will be 16-18 games beginning in late April and ending no later than July 4 (including playoffs). The games for the upcoming season will be scheduled on various days of the week and there will be multiple practices throughout the season. There is travel involved.

Goal: The goal is for all the kids to have fun and to improve by playing. That being said, please be aware that, in the Tri-Town "A" division, playing time is not always equal. This is an exciting age group to be playing as it is live baseball on a 60-foot diamond "with real pitching" played entirely by the kids. The GAA emphasizes the importance of camaraderie, teamwork and good sportsmanship.

12 & Under Division – Tri-Town Baseball League- Boys only

Other Tri-Town members include Palmer, South Hadley, Ludlow, Wilbraham, Longmeadow, East Longmeadow and Monson. We will field one "A" division team and at least one “B” or "C" division team. These teams will be selected based on an evaluation.

Season Schedule: There will be 16-18 games beginning in late April and ending no later than July 4 (including playoffs). The games for the upcoming season will be scheduled on various days of the week and there will be multiple practices throughout the season. There is travel involved.

Goal: This age group is tremendously exciting as it is true competitive baseball on a 75-foot diamond. With this said please know that while all will play, play time is not equal. These teams play very competitive and fun baseball which continues to focus on executing sound fundamentals and game situation strategy.

As always, we emphasize the importance of camaraderie, teamwork and good sportsmanship.

The GAA also emphasizes to all players, that baseball more than most sports, changes from year to year and the more you play the better you get. So regardless of which Tri-Town team you are on, you will be playing good ball, improving your game and most importantly, having fun.
